To
proclaim the Gospel via the airwaves, to aid in bringing
unity to the body of Christ on the Central Coast and the
Central Valley of
California. To do this we make available the
gospel to anyone who has a radio, the finest in
Christian teaching locally and nationally. We
serve the whole body with a diversity of teaching
to feed the whole, not just a particular
group. We involve ourselves with the community in as many ways as we can to
proclaim the Good News of the love of Jesus. Jesus
spoke to the Father and said in John 17:21 That
they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me and I am
in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world
may believe that you sent me. |

Mackenzie Allen
Philips' youngest daughter, Missy, has been
abducted during a family vacation and evidence
that she may have been brutally murdered is
found in an abandoned shack deep in the Oregon
wilderness. Four years later in the midst of his
"Great Sadness," Mack receives a suspicious
note, apparently from God, inviting him back to
that shack for a weekend. Against his better
judgment he arrives at the shack on a wintry
afternoon and walks back into his darkest
nightmare. What he finds there will change
Mack's world forever. In a world where religion
seems to grow increasingly irrelevant "The
Shack" wrestles with the timeless question,
"Where is God in a world so filled with
unspeakable pain?" The answers Mack gets will
astound you and perhaps transform you as much as
it did him. You'll want everyone you know to
read this book! ~This is a work of fiction,
however there is a lot of revelation and "out of
the box" revelations within it's pages.
This book has mixed reviews, my review is to
read it and as the Word says, eat the meat and
spit out the bones. When you get into the
meat of the story the crux of what is brought is
that we keep God/Jesus/Holy Spirit at a safe
distance, the Message of "The Shack" will help
you to bridge that separation and to bring a
deeper intimacy with our Father, our Savior and
His Holy Spirit. ~Gretchen |
Translated
directly from the ancient Hebrew and Greek texts
into today's contemporary American idiomatic
speech, The Message is designed as a
reading Bible. With no verse numbers or stiff,
formal language, the Scriptures unfold like a
gripping novel. Passages we've read many times
before come alive, revealing the vibrant energy
and passion of God's Word. From the mysterious
Old Testament stories to the straightforward
teachings of Jesus, to the encouraging early
church letters, reading The Message will
jump-start hearts, challenge minds, and forever
change lives. |
