| Dear Norwood, Dawn &
KGDP, Dec. 2001
We made a major move at the end of
October & God has relocated us in East Wenatchee,
Washington! We are expecting snow this weekend!
Our 3 year old boy is excited (I think I am too)
Ron has worked for Celite (Mine) in Lompoc for 11 years
& they've promoted him to another position at one of
their other mines located in Quincy, WA. We know
this has all been the hand of God at work, so I don't
question it. That does not mean I don't miss all of
my dear friends I've left behind and KGDP, which has meant
so much to us for the last TEN years! I am not sure
there are many radio stations that could meet the quality
programming found in 660 AM, I will miss it so much!
We have discovered 3 stations in this area with one of
them being an AM talk format similar to KGDP. (The other 2
are Calvary Chapel & a Christian music station)
I am satisfied with the AM station combined with
programming from CCN but I miss some of your programs
dearly! (Adrian Rogers especially) We will
probably be supporting this local station so our KGDP
giving will have to come to an end. When we sold our
home in Lompoc, God saw to it and blessed us with a good
profit from the sale. We have been considering who
to distribute our tithe to from the profit we gained.
KGDP was on our list of those Christian Ministries.
We are sending you a portion of our tithe with our prayer
that God will use it greatly in your work. You have
meant so much to us and your station has been a tremendous
blessing to so many.
God bless you all & Merry Christmas!
Love, The Matthews

Dear Mrs. Patterson,
Thank you so much for the kind card. I have truly
missed KGDP since moving to Alabama. But last week
my husband got DSL for our internet connection. I am
so thrilled to be able to listen to KGDP again - -
on-line!
Last summer when we moved to Atascadero, I asked my
Christian friends about a Christian radio station. I
was given the call numbers of a music-only station and was
quite discouraged. (We had moved to Atascadero from
the Washington DC area, and WAVA is the wonderful
Christian station we missed.) I actually stumbled
onto KGDP by accident. Have you ever
"advertised" KGDP to the churches in SLO county
as well as SB county? If not, it might be a way to
reach more people as well as generate revenue. Just
a thought.
I have been thinking about the potential for KGDP (or any
teaching-only station) to fall into financial tight spots
because listeners send gifts to the speakers' ministries
rather than to you, the source of broadcast. In a
way, it is like thanking the gift rather than the giver of
the gift.
I want to thank you, and all KGDP staff and volunteers for
your ministry. You truly are following Christ's final
command to "Go into all the world and preach the Good
News to everyone, everywhere." Mark 16:15 NLT
To God be all glory!

Hi. My
name is Jason. I am originally from Lompoc, CA.
I am currently stationed at Fort Lewis, Washington working
as a chaplain assistant in the US Army. I just
wanted to write a note of thanks for your ministry and the
great job you are doing. I left the central coast in
the summer of 1993. I was always an avid listener of
your station, which gave me great strength and
encouragement. I love the central coast of
California and always visited my mother and father at
every opportunity...or when finances would allow the trip
from Germany, and then Fort Lee, Virginia and Fort Lewis.
This past October my mother passed away at the young age
of 52. She was a vibrant and well loved woman
because of her love for others. I know she is in
heaven now singing her praises to God. It was a blow
that I can not describe to you. My wife and I had
just become pregnant and I am glad to say that mom found
out and was very happy about her first grandchild.
She always looked forward to the day when she would meet
that little one. Now my son is 9 weeks old and doing
well. He is being dedicated to the Lord tomorrow
morning by my friend and chaplain. In April, my
father decided to take his parents and move to Yuba City,
California, which is where he and my mother grew up, met
and were married. The reason I am writing is to tell
you what you all mean to me. You are not only a
great spiritual encouragement, but also the only link to
my home. I listen to your station
and am comforted by the local commercials and talk.
One of my favorite things to do when I have friends over
is to cook up a good old Santa Maria BBQ with Tri-Tip and
all the trimmings! I miss home and my mom, and
thanks
to this internet link and your station, I have a little of
both. It's hard to explain. Thank you, and may God
continue to richly bless your ministry.
Love in Christ,
Jason M. Reedy

Dearest Dawn,
It is evident
that God's hand has been in your life and KGDP's from the
moment you received the vision. We know that
the vision was true in the Lord's footprints leading,
guiding, and preparing you for this place and time!
The Lord Jesus Christ is watching over you and your
husband, providing help and health that His plan shall be
a witness of His Truth and Faithfulness throughout central
California! We serve the Living God! (Heb 9:14) I am
celebrating with you, and all who are vitally involved in
KGDP, the Father's faithfulness yesterday, His Presence
today, and His promise for tomorrow! Yes, I keep
praying and standing with you: "Behold, how good and
how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in
unity." (Psalm 133; 56:9) When we cry out to our
Lord, then our enemies turn back; this we know, because
GOD is for us! Thank you Dawn, for your caring
heart!
Joyfully
Yours, Eva

Dear Dawn,
Thank you for such a lovely card. Oh how the Lord has
touched me, and may KGDP 97.1 FM forever air. I recently,
June 2000, truly accepted Jesus Christ as my personal
savior, thanks to 97.1 FM. I was surrounded by so much
failure. As a parent, wife, employee and in all walks of
my life, feeling awful about life in general. So down, no
spirit, no light and no love for myself or anything around
me. I turned off the T.V. and turned on the radio to find
some music to take me back to my teen years (70’s) –
Oh how wonderful my Father is. No radio stations would
come in! there was static on all my music stations, so I
pressed the tuning dial and 97.1 came in clear as a bell
and I pressed it oh 4 or 5 times and nothing came on
except for 97.1 – for my salvation (Praise the Lord).
After trying for music I resigned myself to the fact
that there was a message God intended me to hear that day,
I sat down at my kitchen table to listen. Low and behold
Jack Hayford "The Living Way" came on with the
message of "The Sin of Suicide" Wow, talk about
reaching out and planting the seed. I was not suicidal in
the physical sense but I was dead from the depths of my
soul. Needless to say my radio dial is set to 97.1 FM from
7am on daily until I need the music my soul desires and I
listen to K-Love. I have been ministered to ever since on
a daily basis and love all the testimonies and spiritual
guidance I receive. James Dobson, Chuck Swindoll, David
Jeramiah, David Hocking, Hope for Today, Dr. McGee, I can
go on and on. At first my husband and son 16 years today,
(gave those looks like, Oh she’s gone off the deep end
and do we have to listen because you want to?) Well, after
a few weeks of total resistance they have been ministered
to also. My son would grab his Discman and head phones 1st
thing in the morning and wear them through me giving him a
ride to his friends house at 7:45am, in the last 5 weeks
he has listened with me daily Mon-Fri. I searched for a
church and tried SLO but God know me better than I know
myself and directed me to a local church (5 blocks from my
house-so I can truly get involved and receive His love and
build my Christian Family) Oh how wonderful it is to pay
attention to His desire for my life. I am a 41 year old
wife, mother and friend who has been up, down and
everything in between for so long and in June of 2000 KGDP
97.1 FM lead me to truly become a child of God.
Yes-I have many struggles but now I know God truly
loves me and He sent His son Jesus Our Lord for my sins
also-not to cover my sin, but to take it away. I rejoice
in His love. My soul is restored and my work for Our
Father is just beginning and I thank you and God for my
life and I pray that I make My Father very proud of me
today and always
Love and Grace Always,
Love Lori
P.S. Yesterday between 4:30-5:00 pm there was a young
30 years old woman named Janie on a broadcast that had
wanted to take a bunch of pills but had to pass a radio to
get to them-She came to know our Father and the light of
His love though the airwaves, Oh How Great Thou Art!
PRAISE HIS NAME OH FATHER GOD IN JESUS OUR LORD WE ARE
SAVED!
Pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who
call on the Lord out of a pure heart. Avoid foolish and
ignorant disputes, knowing they generate strife. And a
servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all,
able to teach, patient. Amen 2 Timothy 2:22-24

Dear Dawn,
Thank you and your cohorts for your
prayers on my behalf. The situation has improved some, in
fact I had thought for a while that I was experiencing
real victory, but the powers of darkness don’t give up
so easily. I can still use your prayers. I thank God
continually for this station, without which I would be
bereft of so many good and uplifting ministries. KGDP is
where my dial is always set. You not only provide me with
the best of Bible teaching ministries, you also offer the
Metropolitan Opera during its season. And now, knowing
that you and the radio staff are actually praying for me,
well who can ask for more. I only wish that I could
contribute more but I’m on a fixed income. If the time
comes that I am able, you won’t have to ask. Again,
thank you so very much.
Yours in Christ,
Juanita Charles

Hello Christian Radio Group, P.O.A.
Thank you so much for all your
encouragement to me and so many others here at C.M.C.
Prison. You have no idea how much our Glorious Christ has
used you to help me through your ministry, KGDP 660, KWQH
97.1 fm, in so many ways in laying the right foundation in
me. Teaching me how to be a man of God, Godly husband,
Godly Father and Grandfather and an example in being a
leader in my community. I love you and I will be
supporting you after I am released only 8 months. As I
prosper I will give into the ministry vision God has given
you. I can now be a Godly business man one day. This is
for Mrs. G. Dawn Patterson who took out the time of her
busy busy life to write a personal letter in this
beautiful card that greatly touched my heart, along with
the new schedules. Psalm 118:24 is a day of rejoicing
because everyday Salvation, Healing, Deliverance and
Restoration is taking place despite what the news says,
Our God "Reigns". So have a Spiritual Sunday,
Magnificent Monday, Terrific Tuesday, Wonderful Wednesday,
Thankful Thursday, Fantastic Friday and a Supernatural
Saturday. "Jesus is Lord"
Love you Christian Radio Family
